Hello – a very Merry Xmas to all my readers – Can you help me to help someone that can help me?

No – Not too much Xmas brandy already, please read on.

Are any of your family, or friends, looking for a way to move over to Texas?

Would Mansfield be a suitable area to start with?

This is an offer that will work.

We have been here since Aug 2010.  My wife will have to return soon to the UK, as a result of a complete farce in mismanaging the certification that she has with her nursing career.  Apparently Texas BoN are not prepared to authorize a Master’s degree that she holds [which was a 3 year course that covers far more than the certification they take locally] or allow her to sit a local certification for it -  which means they have put an end to her career hopes for the US.

We will all have to return as a result of this idiocy, and will have to sell everything and reverse our journey – many years earlier than we had hoped for..

We have a franchise maid cleaning service that we bought to obtain the E2 visa to speed up the move over.

The London attorney we used [very helpful; office a 2 min walk from American embassy] has dealt with applications for the same company, and the application and acceptance was straight forward.

One major benefit is that instead of having to move over and set up things – and wonder if it will ever work – we have everything up and running with all that is needed.  And the best part – regular clients and a reasonable level of receipts from the day someone arrives.

If anyone wants to seriously discuss this it could be the start of a very happy New Year  for them
